Viewing Your Desktop Status
Use the Desktops page to view the status of your virtual desktop and who to contact if you have issues.
- In the Secure Desktops interface, click Desktops in the left navigation.

View the Desktop status for each of your virtual desktops.
Status Description Available - new desktop You have access to this desktop, but haven't used it before. You must open it to start the desktop. See Connecting to Your Desktop. Available - new non persistent desktop You have access to this non persistent desktop. You must open it to start the desktop. See Connecting to Your Desktop. The desktop is non persistent. This means when you close the desktop, or stop using it, after a certain period of time the desktop is deleted and you lose any data saved on it. Available - opening The service is creating the desktop resources and bringing the desktop online. Available - updating The service is either starting or stopping the desktop. Available - stopped desktop This desktop has been closed. To open it, see Connecting to Your Desktop. Available This desktop has been opened and it's ready to use. See Connecting to Your Desktop. Available - non persistent This desktop has been opened and it's ready to use. See Connecting to Your Desktop. The desktop is non persistent. This means when you close the desktop, or stop using it, after a certain period of time the desktop is deleted and you lose any data saved on it. Available - failed The desktop has failed because of an error. Try to open it again. See Troubleshooting Secure Desktops. Unavailable - All desktops are in use There aren't any available desktops in the pool. -
To view desktop administrator contact details, select the Actions icon (
) associated with your desktop and then select Help from the menu.

Details are only available if the desktop administrator has defined the Administrator Contact Details attribute for the desktop pool. See Creating a Desktop Pool.
